2月5日，中老500千伏联网工程中国段和老挝段输电导线，在云南省磨憨与老挝磨丁交界处实现物理连通，标志着该工程国内外线路全线贯通。该工程线路总长177.5千米，投运后，预计可具备150万千瓦双向送电能力，年输送清洁电能约30亿千瓦时，将为澜湄区域电力互联互通和清洁能源输送提供一条高效绿色通道。
