据外媒消息，索尼100%确认正在开发一款像素高达1.8亿的中画幅图像传感器。这一规格超越了目前专业相机领域标杆的1.5亿像素水平，有望将中画幅相机的分辨率提升至新高度。有消息指出，富士胶片很可能成为这款传感器的首批客户，计划将其用于下一代GFX系列中画幅相机（暂传型号为GFX180）。业内分析认为，这款传感器的问世也可能推动全画幅相机向1亿像素级别迈进。
