1月20日，特朗普在白宫记者会炫耀一年“政绩”时手指差点被夹，疑似拿夹子和文件撒气。
特朗普在从文件上取下夹子时，听到一声响亮的啪嗒声，随后他说“很高兴我的手指没有夹进去”。他还对记者说就算被夹，他也不会表现出疼痛，并说“肯定是有人干的”。特朗普随即将夹子扔到讲台一侧，又在翻阅几页文件后把“政绩”扔到地上。
