1月13日，内蒙古通辽市扎鲁特旗多位网民称，鲁北镇一锅炉从路边房屋坠落砸中一过路车辆，导致车辆受损，监控拍下事发瞬间。14日，事发地附近商家表示，涉事锅炉系居民家的，事发后已被移离现场。辖区派出所表示，事发后已出警处置，经初步了解，事故造成车内两人轻微受伤。目前，事件具体原因及责任认定仍在进一步调查处理中。
