当地时间1月14日，发生在泰国呵叻府在建高铁项目的事故死亡人数升至22人，另有55人受伤。报道说，一台起重机在呵叻府高铁项目施工过程中坠落，砸中一列行驶中的客运列车，导致车厢起火并脱轨。救援人员已成功控制火势，事故原因正在调查中。
