北京时间1月4日，据媒体人“江南的城”透露，前北控队主帅、克罗地亚籍教练别德夫-格兰即将接任新疆男篮主教练。
此前，新疆男篮官方公告称，主教练刘炜因身体原因返回新疆，球队暂时由代理教练带队进行比赛。
“江南的城”在个人社交媒体表示：“超级加倍！恭喜新疆男篮，恭喜格指导，希望在新疆队再创佳绩。”
