时隔两年，艺高高的老朋友荷兰艺术家Peter Riezebos再次回到上海，带着他厚重的艺术新书《AMOR》，和书中美丽的女主角——新婚妻子Linsey Riezebos一起，在这座除了家乡之外他最爱的城市讲述关于爱的艺术故事。

《AMOR》是继2020年发布的《AMICITIA》和《PLUS ULTRA》以及2023年发布的《MATRIX》之后，Peter通过画册形式完整记录的第四个艺术项目。

将生命体验融入艺术探索、透过线条与色彩封存记忆于作品中，是Peter近些年在持续进行的创作方式，在探讨完友情、个人成长以及童年记忆之后，Peter将创作主题落于爱情之上，这本新书将他与Linsey的相遇相知、生活点滴以及由爱生发的艺术灵感全然收录在册。

爱情故事本身是私人的，它记录了特定个体间独特的相遇与陪伴；而“爱”却是普世的，它跨越文化、时代与背景，成为人类共通的情感语言。当Peter将爱情故事变成艺术作品变为《AMOR》分享给所有人时，传递的不仅是个人记忆中的温暖片段，更是对幸福本质的集体共鸣——那些藏在生活细节里的关怀、牺牲与理解，让私密的叙述升华为照亮他人心灵的微光。‌

当Peter与Linsey身着礼服，从月光铺设的银毯上走来，走进WHY HOUSE，走上代表着炙热爱情的红色舞台相拥时，相信所有宾客都看到了“爱”的具体模样。

爱，是一切的答案。爱，让生活变成艺术。爱，为艺术赋予更有感染力的能量。我们相信带着爱与艺术前行的Peter Riezebos能在创作之路上走得更高更远。

两个灵魂的靠近是妙不可言的缘分，两个机构的携手也源自气味相投。12月4日和5日，在WHY HOUSE的倾情支持下，我们为艺术家Peter Riezebos举办了两场特别活动——围绕艺术展开的分享会以及围绕爱展开的婚礼派对。

这两个难忘夜晚，不仅是对Peter与Linsey爱情的盛大见证，也是对WHY HOUSE与ARTGOGO共创艺术AP(Art Property)项目的全新尝试。

作为AP1的Peter Riezebos在WHY HOUSE里拥有了独属于他的主场时刻，走道里、墙面上、包房中挂满了Peter过去十年在上海创作的艺术作品，呈现了他从默默无闻到走进国际藏家视野的来时路。

在这场AP共创实验里，艺术与空间融合，艺术与表演融合，艺术因艺术家而生，也因大众而延展，每一个宾客观众也都是艺术的一部分。

After two years, Peter Riezebos, a Dutch artist and an old friend of Art Gao Gao, has returned to Shanghai once again. With his substantial new art book AMOR and the beautiful leading lady in the book—his newlywed wife Linsey Riezebos—he shares art stories about love in this city, which remains his favorite outside of his hometown.

AMOR is Peter’s fourth fully documented art project in the form of an album, following AMICITIA and PLUS ULTRA released in 2020 and MATRIX released in 2023. Integrating life experiences into artistic exploration and preserving memories through lines and colors in his works has been Peter’s sustained creative approach in recent years. After exploring themes of friendship, personal growth, and childhood memories, Peter now focuses on love as his subject. This new book captures his encounter with Linsey, the nuances of their daily life, and the artistic inspiration born from their love.

Love stories are inherently personal, recording the unique encounters and companionship between specific individuals. Yet “love” itself is universal—transcending culture, era, and background to become a common emotional language for humanity. When Peter transforms his love story into artworks and shares it with everyone through AMOR, he conveys not only warm moments from personal memories but also a collective resonance with the essence of happiness—the care, sacrifice, and understanding hidden in life’s details elevate private narratives into gentle light that illuminates the hearts of others.

As Peter and Linsey, dressed in formal attire, walked along the silver carpet laid by moonlight into WHY HOUSE and embraced on the red stage symbolizing passionate love, all the guests surely witnessed the tangible form of “love.”

Love is the answer to everything. Love turns life into art. Love infuses art with more compelling energy. We believe that Peter Riezebos, moving forward with love and art, will reach greater heights and go even further on his creative journey.

The connection of two souls is a wondrous fate, and the partnership of two organizations also arises from a shared affinity. On December 4th and 5th, with the wholehearted support of WHY HOUSE, we held two special events for artist Peter Riezebos—an art-focused sharing session and a love-themed wedding party. These two unforgettable nights not only served as a grand celebration of the love between Peter and Linsey but also represented a new exploration of the collaborative Art Property (AP) project between WHY HOUSE and ARTGOGO.

As AP1, Peter Riezebos enjoyed his own dedicated spotlight at WHY HOUSE. The corridors, walls, and private rooms were adorned with his artworks created in Shanghai over the past decade, tracing his journey from obscurity to recognition among international collectors. In this collaborative AP experiment, art integrated with space, interwoven with performance. Art emerged from the artist and extended through the public—every guest and spectator became a part of the art itself.
