“引战”用英语怎么说？牛津年度词汇出炉

据多家外媒报道，英国牛津大学出版社1日宣布，“愤怒诱饵/引战”（rage bait）当选2025年牛津年度词汇。

从字面上来看，这个词汇很好理解，rage意思是“愤怒”，而bait意思是“诱饵”，rage bait相当于“让人产生愤怒的诱饵”。

牛津大学出版社将这个词汇定义为“经刻意设计，令人感到挫败、受到挑衅或冒犯的网络内容，旨在引发怒气或愤慨，发布目的通常是为了增加特定网页或社交媒体内容的访问量或互动度”。

Online content deliberately designed to elicit anger or outrage by being frustrating, provocative, or offensive, typically posted in order to increase traffic to or engagement with a particular web page or social media account.

即rage bait指的是网上那些被专门设计，让人产生愤怒情绪的内容，这些内容能够给网站或者社交媒体账号导流。Rage bait相当于我们说的“引战内容”。

假如你在网络上看到某个信息，越看越生气，你很可能“吞下了”一枚“愤怒诱饵”。

有一个派生词rage-farming，它的意思是：

the manipulative tactic of eliciting outrage with the goal of increasing internet traffic

即rage-farming指的是制造引战内容这种行为，可以翻译为“引战式流量收割”。

为了选出今年的年度词汇，牛津词典对其搜索语料库进行分析，列出了三个今年备受关注的单词，分别是：rage bait, biohack,aura farming。

语言专家综合逾3万人对年度词汇的票选结果、公众舆论以及词汇使用数据的分析，将“愤怒诱饵”评为今年的牛津年度词汇。出版社方面说，过去12个月，这一词汇的使用量同比增加了两倍。

Our language experts shortlisted three contenders — rage bait, aura farming, and biohack — that reflect our conversations and preoccupations over the past year. After three days of voting in which more than 30,000 people had their say, our experts chose rage bait after considering votes, the sentiment of public commentary, and their analysis of our lexical data.

“愤怒诱饵”由两个单词组成，牛津大学出版社解释道，年度词汇可以是一个单词，也可以是一个词组。

牛津大学出版社提到，“愤怒诱饵”与另外一个网络相关单词“点击诱饵”（clickbait）都指在网络上发布能增加访问量的内容。

但前者更侧重发布“引发愤怒、不和谐和对立”的内容，而clickbait更相当于我们所说的“标题党”，即通过煽动性的标题诱骗用户点击，但实际内容往往风马牛不相及。

对于牛津词典今年的选词，CNN评论道：牛津的年度词汇实在是令人恼火（Oxford's Word of the Year 2025 is utterly infuriating）。

牛津大学出版社语言部负责人卡斯珀·格拉思沃尔表示，“愤怒诱饵”这个词汇的存在及其使用量的急剧飙升，意味着人们对网络上那些意在引流的操控手法“日益警觉”。

The fact that the word rage bait exists and has seen such a dramatic surge in usage means we're increasingly aware of the manipulation tactics we can be drawn into online.

他还说，过去，互联网信息发布“注重通过激发好奇心吸引关注、换取点击量，如今已出现显著转变，变成绑架并影响人们的情绪及回应方式”。

Before, the internet was focused on grabbing our attention by sparking curiosity in exchange for clicks, but now we’ve seen a dramatic shift to it hijacking and influencing our emotions, and how we respond.

这些年度词汇，一方面定义了趋势，另一方面也揭示了数字平台对我们思维和行动的重塑与影响。
