11月14日深夜，商丘街头一辆汽车突发自燃附近加完班正准备回家的商丘某培训机构青年教师贾宝龙和另外两位老师不顾危险，手持灭火器逆行飞奔上前救火用了6罐灭火器将明火控制随后消防员赶到，成功灭火。
11月15日晚，参与救火的贾宝龙接受采访时说：“现场情况危急，几次复燃，想想也挺后怕。但当时那种情况，根本想不了这么多。”
