辽宁舰航海部门军官表示，辽宁舰并不是网友误会中的训练舰、试验舰，从一开始就以备战为目的。舰载机早就实现满编驻舰，也实现了常态化远洋巡航，所以辽宁舰未来还是主力。估计像歼-15T、歼-35、空警-600都实现一机两型，配套辽宁舰后战斗力直线上升，虽然以前报道都称为训练舰，但现在改变定位作为战斗舰也很正常。
