据彭博社，Tether 正从汇丰银行挖角两位全球顶级黄金交易主管，计划扩大其黄金储备并挑战传统贵金属巨头地位。消息称，汇丰全球金属交易主管 Vincent Domien 与贵金属业务负责人 Mathew O’Neill 将于未来数月加入 Tether。Tether 近年来积极扩张贵金属业务，已成为除银行与主权国家之外全球最大的黄金持有者之一。根据 Tether 的储备报告，截至 9 月，该公司持有逾 120 亿美元黄金储备。
