据厚街发布，东莞第二家山姆——厚街山姆日前已经正式动工建设，位于地铁2号线珊美站出口旁，项目总投资约4.91亿元，总建筑面积66449.82平方米，将建设一栋三层高的独体建筑。其中首层打造约2.1万平方米的卖场空间，二、三层为停车场。预计明年12月建成运营。
