据CCTV国际时讯，美国海军“福特”号航空母舰及护航的“班布里奇”号驱逐舰于当地时间11月4日向西通过直布罗陀海峡，前往加勒比海方向。穿越海峡时，“福特”号的航速约为15节（每小时27.78公里），预计或将在本月中旬抵达美军南方司令部的责任区，即拉美周边水域。
据悉，“福特”号航母打击群的其余舰艇目前分散部署在欧洲和中东地区。
