记者从广西壮族自治区科技厅获悉：《关于组建广西人工智能实验室、广西海洋实验室的通知》日前发布，批准组建广西海洋实验室并明确其落户北海市。
作为广西首个海洋领域自治区实验室，该实验室的研究体系将覆盖海洋现代渔业、新材料与高端装备、药物与生物医药三大板块。
