7月27日，一张落款为开封市公安局的警情通报在网络传播，内容涉及释永信等人。有网友在开封市公安局官方微博留言，求证该通告是否真实。
开封市公安局对此回复，“收到，通报是假的，请不要再传播，目前正在开展工作。”
