介休人爱喝茶，但这里并不产茶，大街上也鲜有茶店，而是满街面店。
介休人爱吃面，且是重口味的面。而茶能很好地消解重口味。
对于介休人来说，吃面吃的就是这个味，少辣少盐是不可能的。
面食在介休，已经发展出了各种各样的形态，正如本地人所说的，在介休，可以吃一个月的面不重样。介休人的一天就是从吃一碗面开始的。
