韩贸易代表吕翰九7月4日晚将前往美国，同美国贸易代表、商务部长等政府高官就韩美关税谈判交换意见。吕翰九表示韩方将致力于争取美方豁免所有对韩“对等关税”，必要时将积极要求美方延长“对等关税”豁免期限。
目前韩对美谈判进展滞后，各界普遍认为韩美在8日前很难达成“一揽子协议”。
