据日本气象厅消息，日本北海道根室半岛东南近海19日发生6.1级地震。目前暂无人员伤亡报告。
气象厅说，地震发生于当地时间19日8时8分（北京时间7时8分）左右，震中位于北纬42.8度、东经146.4度，震源深度极浅。
气象厅还说，此次地震可能会在根室半岛沿岸引发轻微的海面波动，但无须担心造成灾害。
