但他也是个很不容易的人，几十年来都跟精神疾病斗争，后来又患有严重的老年痴呆症。此前一直是妻子Melinda照顾他，Brian Wilson称她是自己的救命恩人。去年一月，Melinda去世了。时隔一年多，Brian也去世了。
