5月26日，许昕与闫安直播连线时，透露樊振东正在训练，“他打呀他在练呢”。闫安称，樊振东将参加今年的乒超联赛和全运会。
今年的乒超联赛即将打响，6月6日至10日将进行第一阶段的比赛。
巴黎奥运会后，樊振东未参加过任何正式国际赛事，但参加了国内的全锦赛和乒超联赛。
樊振东表示，自己除了确定会参加2025年全运会之外，对未来职业生涯尚未展开具体规划。
