北京时间5月10日，据央视体育报道，新赛季NBL联赛只有9支球队参赛，河南队已决定退出。
2025年NBL联赛报名截止，河南男篮不在名单上。据了解，河南队已决定退出NBL联赛。这样，新赛季NBL联赛只有9支球队参赛，相比2009年少了一半。如果从2004年算起，NBL消失的俱乐部超20家。新赛季季前赛将于本月15日打响。
