北京时间4月21日，曾执教辽宁宏运的德国籍主帅维尔纳-洛兰特因病离世，享年76岁。
维尔纳-洛兰特球员时期曾效力过多特、沙尔克、法兰克福、红白埃森、汉诺威等球队。
退役后维尔纳-洛兰特开始担任教练，曾于2008年执教辽宁宏运（已解散），还曾执教过仁川联、希腊人竞技、费内巴切、慕尼黑1860、锡瓦斯体育、慕尼黑土耳其力量、卡斯帕萨、多瑙斯特雷达等球队。
