虽然无缘领奖台，但是第四名的成绩追平了中国男子冰壶在世锦赛上的最佳战绩，也是中国男子冰壶时隔17年重返世锦赛4强。
中国男子冰壶队年底将通过落选赛争夺米兰冬奥会的参赛席位。
