2025年3月28日，缅甸发生7.9级地震，导致曼德勒市、实皆市和内比都等遭受严重破坏，地震发生后，云南省侨联第一时间和缅甸、泰国侨胞了解灾情和需求，收集受灾信息、多方协调资源，用实际行动续写中缅胞波情谊。
