3月17日，一位初中生发布视频称，自己在四川省博物馆发现了一面千年铜镜出现断代错误，纠错后得到了博物馆的证实与肯定。3月18日，四川省博物馆回应上游新闻表示，情况属实，观众指出的断代错误的确存在，博物馆当天就对文物介绍做出了修改。
