3月18日，国际移民组织表示，正在对其日内瓦总部及全球运作进行“必要的结构调整”，以应对2025年捐助方支持大幅削减30%的挑战，其中包括美国资助项目的显著减少。此次调整涉及“缩减或终止全球范围内影响超过6000名工作人员的项目”，并对总部进行结构性改革，裁减约20%的职位，相当于250多名工作人员。
