罗斯晒出了自己在场边观看纽约尼克斯对阵芝加哥公牛队的照片，并写道：“NYC now, up next China （现在在纽约，下一站中国）。”
罗斯在去年9月宣布正式退役，他是2008年NBA选秀的状元，并在2008-09赛季荣获年度最佳新秀，2011年获MVP，是NBA史上最年轻的MVP得主。
