A recent survey of 1,340 respondents by China Youth Daily reveals 52.4% tried winter sports in the past year, up 17.1% year-on-year. Skiing (67.8%) and skating (50.1%) top the list, with participation highest in northeast China (72.2%). Over 65% noted rising enthusiasm, driven by post-Olympic interest and social media.
