据记者本-雅各布斯的消息，埃弗顿有意租借丘库埃梅卡，但需要切尔西同意召回布罗亚。
记者本-雅各布斯报道称，埃弗顿对切尔西中场丘库埃梅卡感兴趣，但只有在切尔西同意终止受伤的布罗亚的租借合同后，他们才能以租借形式签下丘库埃梅卡。
此外，西汉姆联也在关注丘库埃梅卡，而将他租借至斯特拉斯堡（同时召回威利）这一选项也未被排除。
