1月16日，据空中客车消息，海航航空集团旗下西部航空接收其首架A319neo，这也是首架配备分布式脉冲供氧系统（DPOS）的空客单通道飞机。据介绍，西部航空运营着全空客单通道机队，拥有包括A319、A320、A320neo、A321和A321neo在内的44架A320系列飞机。A319neo将用于执行西部航空的重庆至拉萨等高高原航线。
