据日喀则市萨迦县文化和旅游局公告，因受日喀则市定日县1月7日9时5分发生的6.8级地震影响，为保障游客以及工作人员生命财产安全，萨迦古城景区和萨迦寺景区自2025年1月7日起暂停对外开放，待完成隐患排查工作和评估工作，开放时间另行通知。
萨迦寺位于西藏日喀则市萨迦县，是藏传佛教萨迦派主寺，藏有大量宋元明清时期的文物。
