新生儿出生后第2-3天出现生理性黄疸，第4-6天达高峰，足月儿在生后2周消退，早产儿在生后3-4周消退。
但也有2%-15%的新生儿在出生后两周时仍有黄疸，一般来说，足月儿在生后2周，早产儿在生后3-4周，如果皮肤黄染还没消退，就需咨询儿科医生了。
