10月24日，爱尔兰数据保护委员会（DPC）宣布，就微软旗下领英的定向广告行为对其处以3.1亿欧元（约合3.35亿美元）罚款。
微软去年曾表示，预计DPC可能会对领英处以近4.25亿美元罚款。
由于大量科技公司总部设在爱尔兰，DPC在许多数据保护案件中承担欧盟主要监管机构的责任。
