易经第36卦：
「明夷」卦
象曰：明入地中，明夷，君子以莅众用晦而明。
卦象说：上地下火，上坤下离，明入地中。
就是明夷卦。君子在治理众人时，要隐晦明智，而使一切能够被明白。
本幅作品上绘坤卦，代表地。下绘离卦，代表火。
图画中有地火如火山喷发，明入地中，光明陷于大地之下。
