当地时间9月1日，威尼斯传统赛船节在贯穿威尼斯城的大运河上开赛。中国苏州作为威尼斯的友好城市，也受邀参加赛船节节日游行，15名中国队员代表苏州出征，将中国龙舟“划进”意大利“水城”。
