河内公安官方宣布，球队正式签下法国越南裔边后卫庞当，球员有归化的可能性。
在加盟河内公安后，庞当将身穿7号球衣。在与奎维利鲁昂的合同到期后，庞当以自由身加盟球队。
河内公安是越南联赛中投入最多的球队之一，他们此前签下了归化门将菲利普-阮，球员已经成为了越南队的首发门将。
此前，庞当曾经透露，自己的母亲是越南人，自己也渴望为越南队效力。
