8月3日，巴黎奥运会乒乓球女单铜牌战，日本选手早田希娜4-2逆转战胜韩国选手申裕斌，获得乒乓球女单铜牌。
两人比分一直胶着，第一局，申裕斌11-9先胜，此后早田希娜13-11、12-10、11-7连胜三局，第五局申裕斌12-10扳回一局，第六局早田希娜11-7拿下，最终4-2击败对手，获得铜牌。赛后，早田希娜和教练都喜极而泣。
稍后，陈梦与孙颖莎将展开金牌争夺战。
