张朴卿，名从诚，清道光朝书法家。甘肃省民勤县人。生于一八三七年，卒于一八九九年，享年63岁。系清进士张尔周的长子。其兄张从仁，清举人，在给朴卿的传略中说：我的弟少我一岁，丰采绰约，玉立亭亭，读书识字，与我约同，笔花结彩，自幼超群，青年擢秀，是同辈中的佼佼者，卿在书艺上有其卓越的天资，有力透纸背之功。
