北京时间6月2日，吉诺比利在社交媒体发布了一段投篮视频，并配文：“时隔5年第一组连投 100个球！比预期的要好，但随后我的肩膀很不适。”
马努·吉诺比利在1999年参加NBA选秀被马刺队选中，之后随马刺队四次夺得NBA总冠军（2003、2005、2007、2014），生涯最高得分48分，2018年8月28日，吉诺比利宣布退役。
