财联社3月18日电，美国福克斯新闻3月17日报道称，一项最新预测显示，地球人口有望在2080年达到峰值，届时将超过101.3亿，然后开始下降。报道称，3月，奥地利研究机构国际应用系统分析研究所（IIASA）和维特根斯坦人口学与全球人力资本中心发布了新的人口预测。根据这项预测，地球人口将于2080年达到101.3亿的峰值，到2100年将下降到98.8亿。研究人员还表示，在未来30年，60%以上的人口将接受过高中教育。
