2月19日，界面新闻从中石化获悉，该公司部署在重庆市綦江区的重点预探井——丁页11井在五峰组－龙马溪组页岩获得高产页岩气流，日产气20.45万立方米。这意味着中石化在四川盆地又发现了一个新的规模增储富气带。
綦江页岩气田是中国盆缘复杂构造区发现的首个中深层－深层页岩气大气田。2022年，提交首期丁山区块探明地质储量1459.68亿方，目前正在积极建产。
