河南法院依法严惩暴力犯罪，维护社会和谐安全稳定。2023年，共审结一审刑事案件96679件，判处罪犯133100人。其中，审结故意杀人、抢劫、强奸、故意伤害等恶性案件8816件，536名犯罪分子被判处15年以上有期徒刑或无期徒刑、死刑，有力保护了人民群众的生命、财产安全。
