近日《最终幻想16》制作人吉田直树在GameSpot Audio Logs节目中表示，如果《最终幻想16》卖的不好，那就没办法制作《最终幻想17》了。
那《最终幻想16》的销量如何呢？之前SE宣布《最终幻想16》全球销量已突破300万份，在日本地区的实体销量也突破40万份。SE对《最终幻想16》的初期表现感到满意。这么看来《最终幻想17》是稳了，SE将积极开发。
