6月1日，丰田再度开启“大召回”模式，本次涉及车辆型号为卡罗拉Cross，原因为安全气囊“卡了bug”，共计超11万辆，暂时仅限于北美市场。
丰田表示，由于中控台安装错误，导致前排副驾驶座椅的安全气囊无法展开，一旦发生事故，安全气囊不会保护前排副驾驶乘客的安全。建议在修复前，前排副驾座位不要坐人，目前尚不清楚是否有人员伤亡事故。
