比利时国家队官方消息，队长埃登-阿扎尔从国家队退役。
埃登-阿扎尔出生于1991年，出道于法甲里尔俱乐部。2008年11月19日，年仅17岁312天的他完成了比利时一线队首秀。
2018年世界杯，担任队长的阿扎尔表现出色，一路率领比利时打入半决赛，并最终获得季军。今年世界杯上，阿扎尔3次出场，其中两次首发一次替补，比利时队小组出局。
