10月8日晚，椰树集团直播翻车。椰树集团按预告在20点直播，但主播们才热舞几分钟，即刻被平台掐断，十分钟后其尝试恢复，但播了五分钟再次被掐断。对于网友质疑其“擦边球营销”的评价，对方相关负责人回应称，开设直播是因为产品需要，但不清楚网友对于直播间的评价，暂时不了解相关情况。
