近日，粤赣高速和平服务区消防救援站正式揭牌成立。
河源市和平县粤赣高速和平服务区是广东北大门，粤赣高速入粤第一站。据悉，此路段是节假日的堵点和交通事故的多发地，由于消防水源紧缺、出入口少、掉头难等诸多不利因素给粤赣高速公路事故救援增大了难度。和平县粤赣高速和平服务区消防救援站的设立，将为交通事故抢占最佳的救援时间。
