沁园春·雪是毛泽东同志于1936年2月在红军东征途中填写的词。当时胡乔木人在上海，1941年开始担任毛泽东同志的秘书时，沁园春·雪已写出五年了，1965年元旦，胡乔木《词十六首》正式发表后，他在给读者的回信中明确提到：我以前从没填过词。
