9月19号星期六凌晨00:03左右，在智利首都圣地亚哥一号监狱Santiago 1，有三名囚犯试图从监狱的屋顶进行越狱。但这一切都被外部的监控摄像头捕获了，值班人员注意到可疑人员动向，马上发出警报。
监狱宪兵队警员马上出动，控制住三名囚犯。囚犯越狱失败，前后总共才约三分钟左右。
