据央视新闻17日消息，巴西中央银行于当地时间9月16日宣布，维持2%的基准利率不变，该决定符合市场预期，自去年7月以来，巴西基准利率曾经历9连降。
经过9轮降息后，巴西的基准利率由6.5%下调至2%，利率水平达到1999年以来的历史新低。
巴西央行表示，不排除未来仍会调整基准利率，利率调整将取决于该国通货膨胀的情况。
